I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas...a unique historical area bordering
Southwestern New Mexico and Old Mexico.
Billy the Kid and Poncho Villa created legions on both sides of the American and
Mexican borders during the late 1800's.
Southwestern Mexican Food in this territory has been influenced by the Spaniards,
Mexicans, Tiqua and Apache Indians.
I have been a "Mexican Foodie" (Someone with a refined interest in Mexican
food) I truly
enjoy creating unique Mexican dishes.
